Expert Verdict Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk

Silicone wet patches are valued in roof restoration because silicone chemistry tolerates moisture better than many solvent-based cements. Detail work around penetrations, seams and flashings before a full silicone coating is the typical sequence. Keep the can sealed between uses to preserve workability.

Wear gloves and eye protection when handling patching compounds, and follow roof-safety practices when working at height.
