Order ridge bundles in the same color as your CeDUR field shakes for a seamless transition at hips and ridges, and confirm the roof pitch falls between 7:12 and 11:12 before specifying. Because CeDUR shakes are solid with no cavity back, the ridge units install with the same clean appearance as the field. Add a cutting allowance of roughly 5-10% on complex roofs with many hips.

Work from secure ladder and roof anchors when installing ridge caps at height, and follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions and local building codes.
