Expert Verdict Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk

Ultra High Profile caps give a pronounced shadow line at the ridge, a popular finish on architectural shingle roofs. At 20 linear feet per bundle, an average home needs a handful of bundles. Keep nails high enough on each cap so the next shingle covers the fastener, per standard ridge-cap practice.

Ridge work is done at the roof’s peak; use fall protection and follow the manufacturer’s application instructions and local building codes.
