Expert Verdict Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Deep drawers are only useful when their contents stay sorted, so divide them by item class rather than evenly; tall compartments for cutting boards and baking sheets, wider bays for casserole dishes. Measure the inside of the drawer box, not the cabinet, before ordering, and use the trim allowance for frameless drawers with tight tolerances.
If trimming the insert, use a fine-tooth saw and wear eye protection and a dust mask.
