Expert Verdict Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk

General purpose spray paints like Painter’s Touch 2X are best for touch-ups, accents and smaller items rather than large field applications. Spray in thin, even coats in moderate temperatures for the smoothest result. For exterior trim or gutter touch-ups, match the sheen of the existing finish; a gloss can highlights imperfections more than satin.

Use spray paint in a well-ventilated area away from ignition sources, and follow the cautions on the can.
