SOPREMA RESISTO Exterior Primer, 5 Gallon Pail

SOPREMA RESISTO Exterior Primer is a solvent-based primer with synthetic polymers and adhesion-enhancing resins used to prime exterior concrete, metal, wood and plywood surfaces. It prepares substrates to enhance adhesion of RESISTO self-adhesive membranes and waterproofing strips. One order is a 5-gallon pail.

Key Features:

• Boosts membrane adhesion: Primes and prepares surfaces to enhance the adherence of RESISTO self-adhesive membranes and waterproofing strips.
• Multi-surface use: Used on exterior concrete, metal, wood and plywood surfaces.
• Solvent-based formula: Contains synthetic polymers and adhesion-enhancing resins for reliable priming.
• Chemical resistance: Resistant to water, alcohol and most saline, alkaline and dilute acid solutions.
• Fast application: Easy and fast to apply before membrane installation.
• 5-gallon pail: Supplied in a 5-gallon sell unit.

Never install self-adhered membranes over unprimed, dusty or damp substrates; priming with a compatible primer like this is what makes the adhesive bond hold long term. Apply an even, uninterrupted film and allow it to dry per the manufacturer’s direction before unrolling membrane. For large commercial jobs, plan pail counts from tested consumption rates rather than estimates.

Solvent-based primers release flammable vapors, so provide ventilation, keep ignition sources away, and wear appropriate respiratory and skin protection.
