SOPREMA Sopralene Flam 180 FR GR SBS-Modified Bitumen Granulated Cap Ply 39.4 in. x 32.8 ft.

Soprema Sopralene Flam 180 FR GR is a fire-retardant, granulated SBS-modified bitumen cap ply for approved multi-ply membrane and flashing assemblies. The SBS-modified sheet is reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat and surfaced with ceramic-coated granules on top and polyolefin burn-off film underneath for heat welding. Choose Black, White or Gray; each roll measures 39.4 in. x 32.8 ft.

Key Features:

• SBS flexibility: SBS rubber polymer adds elongation, elasticity and flexibility to the bitumen sheet.
• Polyester reinforcement: A dimensionally stable non-woven polyester mat increases membrane strength and puncture resistance.
• Granule surfacing: Ceramic-coated granules add resistance to weathering and foot traffic.
• Fire retardant: Formulated as a fire-retardant granulated cap ply.
• Heat-weldable: Underside polyolefin burn-off film is designed to optimize heat welding.
• Three color choices: Available in Black, White and Gray finishes.

Choose this FR GR cap ply when a job calls for a granulated, fire-retardant wearing surface in a multi-ply SBS system; the polyester mat gives real puncture resistance around rooftop traffic. White reflects heat on occupied or low-slope buildings, while Black and Gray suit aesthetic-matched details. Overlap side laps properly and weld cleanly through the burn-off film for watertight seams.

Heat welding modified bitumen involves open flame and hot surfaces; use trained installers with proper fire-watch and safety equipment per the manufacturer’s instructions.
